Wow - sounds like you guys are getting close to pulling the trigger. What's the latest, or can you not talk about it?

Regardless, good luck out there. Hope you get the contract you deserve!

You my friend are wet behind the ears! I'm guessing you fly for Falcon? The same company who flew Struck work when Spirit walked and are now flying our stuff right b4 a strike!
Read what you wrote amigo, what makes you so special?

Actually (much to my chagrin), it still is relatively difficult to get hired here. Was talking to several new hires and they still had to have their stuff walked in. We are getting several out of the military as well. So, it's probably not going to be a "just apply and get hired" kind of situation. Trust me, if I had my way, there would be ZERO resumes on their desks. Unfortunately, you have no control over other people's situations.

I do not fly for Falcon, WAA. However, the event your talking about is common knowledge. I don't think there's 1 pilot here that is stupid enough to fly sub service for a any scheduled carrier. Our flying is regular scheduled Repatriate flights, and travel agency Cuba flying. As far as I know, it would be absolutely obvious if there were any attempt to get a line pilot to fly a sub service. In this hiring environment, I can assure you that 90% of the pilots here would end up catching the "flu" if that ever happened as we all are trying to have a brighter future.
I am fairly low time, I don't feel special. Just trying to play the game and move on.

I am not doing this to be mean, but just as a heads up for the future. You basically said we were your desperation choice. Then you posted pretty specific information that anyone on the hiring board can use to figure out who you are. We may come across with a lot of negativity, but we're here already and are responding to personal things that have happened over the last few years. We also really do care about this place and want to see it become what it could and should be. And we try to stay anonymous. If you are trying to get on somewhere it is always just where you always wanted to work, whether it is or not.

Point well taken. Looking at it now, probably wasn't the best idea on my part..

It’s only a matter of time now. G4 management has set themselves up nicely for the takedown. Complete, open and total disregard for our elected union, labor law and work rules. All within view of the NMB. All proper preparations are in effect now. We’re different; we’re a “Travel Company “, not an airline. This G4 euphemism will come back to haunt this management team.

The NMB will have no political forces pressuring or intervening in our proffer for self-help, which is coming soon.

That's not what happened. One Falcon flight was conducted by a management pilot CA and a moron new hire FO. The rest of the aircraft (4), mostly based in KIWA, that were supposed to be sent in, never left for the east coast. The Falcon pilots, mostly former Midwest Airlines former ALPA pilots, informed the Spirit MEC Chairman that they would not, and DID NOT move the aircraft. Shut down.

Be careful with accusations.
