Oh good.

Is Punta Gorda growing? Guy in line at the job fair said it was "doubling" in size. How true is that?

Sorry for all the questions but 8 long hours on airport reserve...

PGD has already more or less doubled in size. It's approaching 20ish crews. On the last bid there wasn't too much for PGD open, so it may it nearing where they want it for now.

1. Can you please describe a typical work day's schedule? More specifically in the Florida bases. (I figure it's mostly 2 leg days, 8-10 hour duty)

2. Same question as #1 but for the month? For reserve and line holders.

3. Is there an ability to improve your schedule by trading with open time or other crew members?

4. How are the travel benefits? Do you get a designated pass rider or any buddy passes?

5. Most important of all. Is there coffee on board and is in any good?

Thank you in advance.
Have you read this thread? You do realize we're more than likely going on strike soon, yes?

I have read it and am well aware. At the same time, there is no other airline that offers what Allegiant offers. All day trips where I can be home every day, in Florida where the cost of living is low, based in small airports with no delays or EDCT times just to name a few. Great pilot group too from the few I've met.

The way I see it, it can only go one of 2 ways. You'll strike and the company caves or they'll just make you an offer you can't refuse resulting in no strike. Either way I'd love to be there when it happens.

Hi guys, I sent my stuff in some months ago, and have yet to hear back. I am a 8,000 hour corporate guy (most all jet time). Anyone know what it takes to get an interview? I am wanting to make the switch to the 121 world. Allegiant seems like it would be a good fit for me.

Please scroll up several months and read about the HOM base. If being home every night is your draw to Allegiant, be careful. If you are assigned this base, you may not be home for MONTHS.

There are plenty of delays, and we do still get EDCT's. Your not going to get away from that. Right now, they are hiring primarily in to the homeless base, so you may or may not be based where you want to. They have also been forcing new hires in to the 757, which is West Coast only.
