The waiting game has begun in earnest. Best of luck to all of us, although I don’t think we need it. G4 management has done everything to ensure a positive outcome from the nmb board. They have brought this wrath unto themselves.

What does the Teamster email mean? Is it to avoid mediator scheduling conflicts or is it to work towards being released?

So, in other words, the proffer for arbitration is just a formality that we have to fulfill in order to be released.

I'd be willing to be the Company won't agree to arbitration.

Rat grab the mike, turn up the volume and check your frequency. I thought this was old hat to you? You’ve been there, done that a thousand times over and over again? Aren’t you telling us how it is, how it was for you over at XYZ or wherever? The proffer for arbitration is granted by the nmb to both parties, to which we have requested. Either one can reject it. It’s the formality prior to 30 day cooling off. Don’t you remember that? Isn’t that what you did already a hundred times over? Or did you senior old guys have it good at XYZ, screw that lets just cut a deal and get mine? Scope anyone??

I have read it and understand there's some bad blood between pilots and management. That's most places I think. The TDY deal isn't great to hear about either. It just seems that after you get your base assignment you can have it pretty good though. This guy seems to think so. ^
I also saw that attrition isn't too high. Must not be that horrible to work there but I'm sure I don't know the whole story. I'd seriously want to hear more about it though. I know APC is a place for doom and gloom but as an outsider it's a little confusing.

What's the timeframe you guys are hearing for the corporate response to the proffer?

I don’t think management is required to make a response to the nmb. Our proffer request is individual and independent of the other party. The nmb decides now. I guess g4 management could make a rebuttal as to why that’s not necessary. But, they are way busy at HQ, there is a cute pet contest going on as we speak.
