I do support them. Just asking the question. I forgot about the subservice fill-ins for their flying.
Last year AAY spent 25 million on "sub-service". So yes....scope is a huge issue.

Well, one thing's for sure-he's on the highway to the Danger Zone!

Yup, I went there!

Heya fellas,

Just got a call today for an interview at the end of the month. I'm just starting to look and search through the threads for interview questions/material.

If anyone happens to know a good place to start or care to share their experience I'd love to hear, and greatly appreciate it in advance.

Definitely plan to move to a base if you don't already. That said, you really need to familiarize yourself with what's going on here right now.

The interview is yours to lose. Introduction, HR, paperwork, why G4? The only technical part is the sim. Fly, maneuvers, vectors to enter a hold, fly an ILS to land all in the 757 sim.

Read this thread in its entirety. Most of the info you'll need to make a decision is here. It is VERY accurate and not just a bunch of chronic malcontents airing grievances. You need to know exactly what you're getting yourself into. Best of luck...

Thanks for the replies guys,

I'm versed in the info regarding company, schedules, possible strike action, etc. Pending a successful interview, I'm really looking forward to putting in work with the pilot group.

Until that time comes my focus is squarely on the interview and any info to help bring a positive outcome. The interview is for classes in May.

Good Luck, and be warned it's highly likely we may walk during your class. Considering the current timeline...

How long did it take you to get the call after you applied? I've had my stuff in for months now and they won't give me the time of day. What's the secret?

9,000 TT
7,000 jet
3,000 turbine pic
5 types

Based upon the comments I've read, I am shocked at the amount of pilots this company has. I'm also surprised that they have hundreds of resumes. What's their deal?
