This may just be a blessing in disguise. According to the Reuters news release, we are a "major carrier" in this process. Apparently MG and the rest of the 3 stooges at Allegiant (I'll let you decide who the other 2 stooges are), are convincing the court system that we are now a critical player. I say great! So we get stalled by a strike right now, but......we are a major carrier, and obviously critically important to a variety of needs of the U.S economy! Lets make sure we now erase any previous 'contract wishes' and start brand new. I propose we become the highest paid MD80, A320, and 757 pilots in the country. Best medical coverage, cafeteria plan, retirement, days off minimum 15 for line, 14 for reserve, and so on. Make the absolute diamond level contract for our very very important pilot group. We now need to stand strong, and make MG and the stooges PAY for our critical importance!

It's an unfortunate fact that the entire game is rigged in favor of big business. Our saving grace will be that the hearing on the 10th will be with our first judge whose orders the company has spit upon. He will not be happy and is fully aware what these con artists are capable of.

After the company's previous disregard of court orders, it's pretty ironic that they slithered to court to stop you guys and you have honorably respected the temporary restraining order. It's also pretty infuriating to read the company's propaganda releases describing it as an "illegal strike", etc. I used to be stationed in Italy where there were random strikes every few weeks (especially rail strikes). I never realized until this that the deck is almost completely stacked against employees these days. AAY is probably spending more on legal maneuvers than it would have spent simply restoring the status quo, but I guess MG would rather pay outside lawyers than the people who made him a billionaire. What a complete d-bag.
Considering that UAL alone is hiring over 1000 new pilots this year, I wish the majors would just offer to hire all you guys en masse. It is a much more creative and cost effective way to demolish AAY than fare wars!
I'm looking forward to your next victory in court. Keep at 'em boys, give her the gun!

Don’t need to. They didn’t win anything other than a short time out. Status quo is the hill this management chooses to die on. So be it. Its war they asked for. Its war they got.
Yes, the one percent elite make the rules as best they can to advantage themselves. The RLA and courts are all geared to their advantage. But, we take the battles to where we can. When we can.
Stock hasn’t quite rebounded. This was the first hit. And we didn’t even strike. Every 24 hours that tick by when we do. Ohhh baby.. Boooom.
