And in a flip from last year, it looks like a lot of the Florida folks will be brought out west. No one is safe from TDY at G4.

Looks like half the SFB CA list will get the boot in August. That's nuts.

Is it true that the Hawaii runs are shutting down soon? Heard all the 757s are up for sale.

Not true. As mentioned above, we just took a loan out on all 6 birds. The HNL operation winds down after the summer but the HNL-LAX and HNL-LAS markets are year round. The planes will be used domestically until they can find more year-round HI markets.

Ok, we've been hearing all sorts of rumors around the ramp here in HNL, was just curious. Thanks.

The 757's are no longer for sale. They have decided to keep them, at least for now.

You are not safe from TDY in any base, if you are junior. If they can ever get the training department sorted out, it may get a little bit better.

For the person that asked about the virtual base, I would like to explain it to you but the company has never really explained what they mean. I assume it to mean there are no official bases, but your based would change from month to month based on the needs of the company.

It's a TDY Commuter base so it must be commuter friendly, right? Right?

I got the call today to set for a phone interview... I got the TBNT email the first 2 rounds. It's good to see something positive for a change.

Positive change? Or just taking what they can get at this point?
