We do have an ASAP. If it helps your perspective any I've been here for about 4 years. In the 80 for 3 years, now in the airbus. I've had my app out with Delta, United, and Alaska and no calls. I have over 4,000 TPIC and about 10,000 TT. I haven't seen where an Airbus type has helped. But I do believe this is a better place than a regional. Also, who knows we may get a great contract soon and youll be glad you came. But come here planning on being here long term, because who knows what the majors are looking for.
Brah,
Why not American? I have been at express jet for a couple of years and I am ready to make the move. Im definitely gonna apply ASAP. Sign me up Captain!!
PEACE

flyingdutchman1 and HVYMETALDRVR thanks a lot guys for the insight. I do worry about some of the stuff I've heard about the training dept and the maintenance issues. I don't want to go somewhere that will jeopardize my ticket but I feel like I've got to do something. I'm glad to hear you guys have ASAP. I'm on the younger side so I'd probably get the 80. I sort of thought at least Delta or American would be interested in those guys since they fly 80s also...I guess not necessarily.
@flyingdutchman1, Thats sucks that with all that time and both those type ratings you've still got no calls. Maybe my plan isn't so great after all.
@HVYMETALDRVR, from the dog and pony show they did I understood that FL is where all the newhires go, but with the displacements you are talking about is there a chance they might send me somewhere else? Also they said "commuting is possible" and "10-20%" of their pilots commute. Is that just blowing smoke? I just don't see how it's possible with the schedules.
