Yes, guys from 2014 have upgraded. Now read the 1000 pages and you will figure out why. Lot's of more senior guys bypass because the QOL here as a junior guy SUCKS.

While some of the other posters here can be very cynical, they are still spot on. Do your homework. This place needs a lot of improvement. The more guys who are salivating to work here continues to erode the bottom line. As long as applications keep coming, nothing will change.

That's what the rest of us have and are doing...actually reading the pages to get the information. Why are you so special that you feel entitled to be spoon fed?

Come on man, we're toughing you up. This is good prep for what you would encounter in a g4 new hire ground school setting. Hostile environment, telling you to go get the info on your own.

Its funny that people keep talking about the training but from talking with friends that have recently completed training programs from other companies they say the exact same thing. You're on your own. Allegiant is not unique in that aspect.

Good to hear. Part 117 extensions, not happening. Not that they would help in most circumstances. But, every bit helps.

My experience having gone through the Airbus program a few months ago is they have a lot of excellent instructors in the program, sims are fine, they want to help you succeed. So in that sense not much different than anywhere else. Schedules can get messed up for some folks which has been a problem. And the manuals could still use some work.

All in all a positive experience, at least for me & my sim partner.

I realize this may be written earlier in the forum but since you seem to be logged in, what's the chance of joining on the Airbus? I'm current on the 320 in the Middle East and looking to come home soon. After over 8 years of glass the MD80 might fry my brain.
