Ah, so things don't break at other airlines. Thanks for clearing that up.
Some of you seem to think that getting on APC and doing nothing but badmouthing the company you rely on to pay your bills is a good idea. Some of you seem foolish enough to believe that if only you trash talk Allegiant enough, nobody will come here and management will come to us bowing and scraping begging us to accept Delta +10%. Let me be the first to tell you that that little fantasy of yours is just that, a fantasy.
I bet if we were offered a really great contract tomorrow, 99% of the comments on here would be about what a great place Allegiant is and how wise you were to come here. You would probably get bombarded with requests from friends to walk their resumes in. It'll be a complete 180. All of the sudden "its a great place to make a career". Your going to look pretty stupid telling the same people you convinced what an unsafe hell hole you worked at has magically transformed as soon as you get a few more bucks in your pocket.
If it is so much better at regionals and everywhere else, then leave. Don't walk, run!! It's so unsafe and your life is on the line every time you set foot in one of our planes right? You look like idiots bu staying. Toiling away as keyboard warriors bashing your company yet too stupid to leave it. I get it if you have a bad day and spout off once and a while. It happens to everyone. Some of you guys seem to have made a second job out of coming on here and going on a witch hunt for anyone who disagrees with you in the slightest. Wouldn't your time be better spent looking for a new job if you felt so terribly unsafe every moment of every day?

Still you ValueGiant, CLMP, Vegaspilot, Hotel Pen, CRXpilot, Tyler ect ect. All the same people.
Quit if you're so afraid to work here and it sucks so bad. Actions speak louder than words. You all are lucky Allegiant doesn't have a court make APC cough up your IP addresses, track you down and have you fired. They would also be in a good position to sue you for slander. You should be grateful the people that GAS what you say are you and the other 6 or so guys that do nothing but play keyboard warrior all day on the interweb. I have no respect for people who complain and do nothing about it.
For the record, these guys do not represent most Allegiant pilots. Sure guys are bitter about the negotiation process. I'm also frustrated how it's been going. 90% of the guys I fly with have no intention of leaving. I don't hear the non stop whining and melodrama from people on line. You have a very vocal minority that love to do nothing but complain and exaggerate. Send Maury an email of a copy of your posts. Share with management how you feel. I'll be waiting to hear the reports back from you all on how that went.
Don't be a coward; shut up and quit already! have my reasons for being here and I owe nobody any explanations. If I felt as miserable and scared as some of you proclaim, I'd show myself the door.

Just to let you know the definition of slander is to make up false accusations with the intent to ruin someone or something's reputation. Go ahead and read my posts and tell me which are false accusations. I'll be waiting.
Please read my previous post again. I said I am putting 100% effort into leaving this place. The phone is on and I'm waiting for the call. I will let you know when I quit and then if I leave do I have your permission to keep complaining?
Finally, I noticed that you said you don't owe anybody an explanation to why you're staying. I don't think anyone really asked you your reasons. Once again, by the sounds of your posts and your inability to listen to what people have to say you sound like someone up north sitting at a desk. Just a guess, but I hope I am wrong that about that. There is a pilot group to take care of and a failing operation.

Well, since you called me out by name and said I'm stupid when I never personally attacked you, time for me to chime in.
You have no idea who you are talking to and what you are talking about. The pilot's on this board whom you have labeled as whiners and chronic malcontents are the ones who helped build this company. Many have been here for the better part of a decade or more. Many are also union volunteers who devote their spare time to help fight the ones who are trying to prevent you from providing for your family. Maybe you can show a little appreciation.
You are very quick to accuse us of making up facts in order to dissuade future applicants for financial gain. How is that different than telling anyone who has a complaint to "just leave" in order to quench your insatiable appetite for seniority progression?
Lastly, the Airbus and the MD-80 are two very different jobs. You are very quick to dismiss those (some of whom have multiple engine failures) as unsafe pilots who purposely fly broken aircraft. It is an INSULT to us all. I no longer work at Allegiant but I will always support this pilot group who are up against one of the toughest fights of their careers. Your oversimplification of their jobs is a slap in the face.
Enjoy your seniority bump.

I know of one plane (422NV) that couldn't hold altitude at FL330. Didn't turn back in this instance, but wouldn't surprise if there was more than one. This CA almost got an FAA letter for it. Amazing. 422NV is red sticker and both engines go right up to the limit. The right one likes to try to go over. This plane makes me nervous...it's only a matter of time.
This type of stuff does nothing but make the pilot look like a frickin moron. The airplane couldn't hold altitude at 330, huh? How heavy was the plane? What was the ISA deviation?
Skywest recently stalled a -200... I don't know how we haven't done the same with some of our rocket scientists at the controls.
The plane makes you nervous because it goes near the limit? Really? Do you return to the gate if you have a 499 degree start because it approached the limit? Jeezus people... Learn your frickin systems.
