Just reading the rosy negotiating update from the COO where he gushes over the long overdue agreements made in FOQA, Pro Standards, HIMS, and ASAP. Wait, didn't his last update claim all "non-economic sections" had already been agreed to? Perhaps if he even bothered to attend the negotiations he would have a better grasp. For someone claiming to be so committed to the process, completely blowing off the last 2 sessions and skipping out early on the rest doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Tack on the openly combative sneers from our CEO to a recurrent class and the picture gets clearer. If 3 years only netted easy boiler plate stuff, there's no telling how long the highly contentious economic sections will drag on. This charade will continue until we strike, not a minute sooner. They are making a mockery out of the process and the NMB. Hopefully someone up there is paying attention.

passenger comment on AAY facebook page Aug 25, 2015, I believe it was about flight #453 Austin-Las Vegas:

Marilen Acosta-Jallorina‎

"We had an Allegiant flight incident yesterday from Austin,Texas where the airplane had to go back to the gate because something metal broke (loud cracking noise) just before the plane was about to take off. Pilot slammed the brakes and everyone was thrown forward. Thank God for the seat-belts that everybody was wearing. One woman was evacuated for anxiety attack. I do not blame her. We were offered to wait 6 hrs for the rescue plane to continue our flight to Las Vegas, but my husband and I decided Allegiant planes are old planes so no more flying with this airline."

Currently, I'm guessing they ask a lot of questions about how you handle in flight engine failures and smoke in the cabin.

It's probably a lot like those cheap weekend getaways at a resort that spends the entire weekend hounding you to sign up for their over inflated priced timeshare before you leave and realize what you are getting into.

I got a call with an invitation to an interview next week and was told that I will receive an email with the details. So far, I had not received the email yet and I am trying to make arrangements for the time off to attend the interview. Any idea who to contact?

Yesterday I had a missed call from 702-830-5797. After googling it I found that it was an allegiant number. They did not leave a voicemail or follow up with an email. Was this the number they called you from?

I attended the one they had in ORD. Laid back, was asked about resume, past job, why Allegiant?. I was invited to LAS for in-person. I would attend, their next one is in PHL I believe on the 27th. Good Luck!

Dude! Maybe a sign of things to come?

From what I hear they are very flaky probably in the mindset of getting you used to the Allegiant way. A regional part 2 with Airbuses. Good luck!
