Touché... I'll withdraw AMF from the list above. Everything else stands.

None yet, but if the places I have applied to don't call soon I'll start looking at stuff like that.

Remember kids... going from a major to a regional is an astounding career move. Why fly at an airline with experienced professionals and six figure income potential, when you can fly for a regional. You could be flying with a 22 year old FO who just graduated 3 months ago if only you are lucky enough to get on at a regional. You will be way safer flying with someone who until 8 weeks ago was flying 172's with Chinese kids.

Let's not forget how lucrative regional captain and FO pay can be. Sure you'll have to buy food for your family with food stamps the first year. Don't worry, with your massive $21,000 a year salary, you'll qualify. When you upgrade, the big bucks really roll in. At PSA, 2nd year captain pay is a whole $59,000! Wow!!!! Just think of the used double wide you'll be able to buy with that kind of scratch. Just don't finance your trailer for too long. You never know when your regional might lose their contract.

I'm sure you'll fine your new career at a regional both long and rewarding. Enjoy!!

It's tiresome to read whiny posts from the same 5 or 6 people. None of them have the sack to quit, which destroys their credibility of just how bad they say everything is here. A few of them seem to have made a part time job of bashing Allegiant. They make laps around different pilot message boards and post only to bash Allegiant. Some of you guys are truly pathetic.

Allegiant has issues for sure. It will never be the same as working for a legacy. There are a few things that are absolutly true about Allegiant. We will get a contract eventually. It will be for much more money that we make now. We are the most profitable airline in the world. You can't make gains without profits.

Allegiant is head over heals better than any regional ever could be. We sell our own tickets and own our own planes. No regional can compare. We don't have to worry about being whipsawed by some other cut throat regional every couple of years for flying. The current pay at Allegiant is also better that any regional. No regional line captain makes over $150 per hour.

There is no silencing the Allegiant haters here. Actions speak louder than words. Why are they all still here if they are so afraid for their safety? Why haven't they all left for the glamorous and safe regioanls yet? They are all talk.

After we get a contract, the same guys will be gloating about their wise decision to come here and stay.

No contract is going to fix our operational or MX issues and being handed a contract tomorrow without addressing that wouldn't change my mind about this place. Look if you're ok with the operation and our MX and can climb aboard our planes without being a little nervous every time, good for you. But then again I've never accused you of having any common sense and I'm not about to start now.

disco inferno,

Thank you Mr. Management. Had your FAA interview regarding your "emergency" fuel problem at FAR yet?
