Don't let the crappy schedules keep you from coming here. Just do what I have noticed quite a bit this weekend, given all of the mission modes. Call in sick. Just between you and me it works out well, and don't worry about being new, there is no contract so we're all on probation.

Been with the company just over 2 years, going to make around 80k this year, live 20 minutes from the airport, work am shift ( show 0600 usually done around 1400), in my bed every night, just voted in a union, and flying newer airbus right now. That is how I am willing to put up with it. Things will get even better once we hash things out with the company on soft pay, 401k, and other things.... . Enjoy your EWR commute.

Guys, guys at the end of the day we had a lot of sick calls and mission modes this weekend. Way to go, keeping what Mav(S.H.) and Bingo-Baden keep telling us; Safety first.
