I applied for AAI on a Friday night. I was called to set up a phone interview the following Monday. When the phone interview was schedule, I never received a phone call. Has anyone else had this happen? I called the AAI number back and got nothing.

I have been following most of this thread, and realize that it is not labeled a new hire thread. But there is some other info in here related to disorganized training.

As far as KCM vs SIDA, one of the nice things about KCM is there is no class to go to. You can be out of uniform and still use it. But not a lot of smaller airports are going to have it. I commute (for now) out of BHM and we don't don't have it. They go back and forth on letting us use the precheck lane as well.

The company supplies the headsets. Personally I use my own. I just have the cheap Telex. That's for the MD. Not sure about the Airbus guys.

Went to the meet and greet and gave them a resume. Should I fill out a app or wait for a call?

The same happened to me. Email the people that you got the email from and they will reschedule.

Should've asked this before, but I'm assuming Allegiant has jumpseat agreements with most carriers?

We are in CASS and no issues jumpseating.

You should have done like SNL claimed Jesse Jackson did to the taliban..... *69 them to make sure the call on Mon wasn't a crank call. Just read this thread and consider it a bullet dodged. Congrats.

I am sure glad the media finally gained attention of the PIE CA who was fired for that evacuation.

Hopefully Bingo and Greaseball can put their heads together and figure out how to get that guy back in property.

Probably not though....

Best line of the year.

"Baden "fires him by phone," Wells said, "and then he flies and almost runs an airplane out of gas."

Bravo. Bra-freaking-o.
