The focus of just the pay rates shows a complete lack of understanding of what the group finds important.

As for scheduling, the AB and 80 guys live very different lives.
are the rates listed out or are you guys just using the calculator thing the posted and doing the math. I did the math those rates do not even get to what places like Virgin America or Jet blue currently have.

Those horrible pay rates coupled with a band system, and no work rules are something the company should be ashamed of, not proud of.

Also for anybody wishing to come to Allegiant and want to know what the schedules look like, I would recommend going to that website. They are published and I clicked on my base and found my schedule there for all to see. Made me chuckle a little considering all the single days off I have. So if you are wanting to come here, take note that these schedules are the best the company must have since they are willing to show the public how "great" we have it. If you can commute, or can live with these schedules then feel free to come. Just remember this website has allowed you to come here with your eyes wide open.
I think it's a fabulous idea for the company to put this out there. Now there can be no uncertainty that the company is out of their mind.

If I don't see VA + 15% minimum hourly rate coupled with major changes to retirement and work rules, I will vote NO. Oh... A big frickin signing bonus too.

I think we should all, individually, email Mr. Harfst and express to him that those rates are a big waste of time and they will not convince us otherwise. They are also an insult.

Saw the schedules but didn't see the "Virtual Base" schedules...what is that all about? Are you just forever on the road?

I just did the math for each band/year. FO rates aren't bad but the captain rates are pathetic at the top end. Also, what gets you into the new top band? We've been in band 4 for a while so I'm guessing they are going to raise the bar for band 3. Company contribution to retirement has to get a lot better to get a yes from me. 5% from me to get 4% from the company is not going to cut it.

The union is holding a webinar/conference call or something today to go over this I believe. I'm curious how far apart we are.

I will vote no way in heck to any band system. The tide only rises managements boat.

This is because Mgmt would rather you just quit/leave at 5 yrs that way they can use shiny planes, decent fo pay, and quick upgrade to attract new sukkas.
If by chance some captains stick around.... Well jokes on them as alg gets them for on the cheap.

Explain to me how the "FO rates aren't bad". If I did my math correctly the 12 year FO rate is $111 per hour on band three. Which would mean band one rate would be approx. $101 per hour. All FO's at Allegiant should see those rates as a slap in the face. Why can't the most profitable company in the US afford Southwest rates, Delta rates, United rates, American rates, etc...?

I think it speaks volumes that management is of the opinion that a 10% raise is enough to turn the vote in their favor... when it doesn't even bring us up to industry standard.

Not sure what fantasy world your living in but you are never going to be happy here because we will not see SW, Delta etc rates. The union isn't even attempting to get them. When I ran their numbers I didn't go past year 7 for FO rates and band 1 was $100 and band 3 was $110. Agreed about pay bands, they are a non starter for a contract. The FO rates are at or above Alaska for the first 3 years then we fall behind again. If you want Delta rates, go to Delta, enjoy your commute and overnights.

As stated by others, it's obvious the company isn't interested in longevity of their pilots based on the terrible captain rates and no mention of retirement and insurance.
