Make no mistake, guys, Maury is in no way wearing down or giving in. You're not talking about a guy that "sees the light" or even perceives compromise on a contract as anything but defeat.
We're talking about a guy that's Jekyll & Hyde over the thought of a contract with his pilots, and will go to great lengths to see that never happens.
He did it with the dispatchers and he's almost done it with the flight attendants, and he will not rest until a pilot contract is nothing more than a dream that we give up on.
Nothing and I mean nothing is going to change until we get released to strike.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Maury needs to go before he runs this company into the ground. His penny pinching will be the demise of one of our planes and this company. I hope the board has finally seen the light and is putting pressure on MG. My hope is that he decides to retire or is forced out soon. Allegiant has potential to be a great company, but not with this cheap pr**k at the helm. I agree with your assessment of MG. I think he is too arrogant to ever do whats best for the company. To him it's all about getting his way and making a couple of extra pennies per share.
Secondly, you are not entitled to anything. I hope you do go out on strike and negotiate something good for yourselves, but you are not entitled to anything. Your pilot group should consider dropping Teamsters and going unrepresented. Then, that way, you can have the big strike or walk out or whatever you want to call it unscathed by the chains of the RLA. No union=nobody to sue in a work action.
Don't confuse union with a contract. The company needs you to have a union, its their free police department to keep you in line. What they don't need is for you to have a contract that rains on their cash parade.
PS - "making a couple of extra pennies per share" is every American's right. You should be so lucky to live in a country where this can happen. Don't get me wrong, I feel for you not being able to have what Delta, United, and American has. But you are not entitled to it. It would be far easier and quicker to just go to work there right now and have everything you want.

Fixing maintenance and agreeing to a pilot contract are not one in the same. They can easily fix maintenance issues if they want and still not agree to a pilot contract. Don't intermingle the two.

The rest of what you said makes no sense in regards to anything I've said.

The only comments in your post that have anything to do with what I stated is the comment about "making a few extra pennies per share". I'm a capitalist. I'm all for making as much money as you can. My problem is with Allegiant sacrificing safety to do it.

I don't hear anyone running around stating that we are "entitled" to anything. I do see a pilot group working hard and picking up a lot of slack in the day-to-day operation. Also, I do think the Allegiant Pilots are under paid compared to their peers and do deserve a solid contract / work rules / pay.
It has nothing at all to do with what you deserve, its about what you negotiate.
You deserve nothing. You are entitled to nothing. You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake.

Drop the union then the next day you can forget the RLA...
