Go read the united threads, or the Delta threads, everyone is complaining about one thing or another. What's the difference between a pilot and a jet engine?

Thanks for the useful info from the other guys.

A new twist to the TDY story. I tried to get the phone number of the guy I'm sharing a car with this month from crew services. They refused because I'm not on a trip with him and transferred me to crew travel. They actually picked up the phone (mark the calendar) but said due to privacy issues they couldn't give it to me, "wait 'til you get to the hotel and contact him there." That's about the extent of my due diligence, I guess I have my own car for the month and he's walking.

I was looking to trade a trip on my schedule with a trip in open time. Crew services wouldn't tell me the captain on that trip, saying it is their policy not to disclose that information unless operationally necessary. ***?

When you select the trip you want on the open time/trades board you should be able to see who the CA is unless he hasn't marked to allow others to see his schedule. You should be able to see the CA under "View Duties" after selecting the pairing number.

Looks like another winter bid reshuffle, at least 4 names disappeared from the 4/4 AB class and rumor is up to 6 people declined the upgrade after award.
