That's good to hear. This skyrider guy seemed to think otherwise. We are currently not including Allegiant (no contract) or Frontier (bankruptcy contract) in our peer group at the table, just the big 4 along with Jetblue and Alaska/virgin. We are also not using what most have now except united and AA because the others are actively negotiating. We are taking into account that both southwest and delta will do better than their failed TAs from last year. It's also understood that United will snap up to deltas new wages. We are making assumptions for Jetblue and Alaska/virgin.

If you guys ratify something shortly it's only a guess that any mediator would want us to include Allegiant into the market analysis when guiding our negotiations.

Don't let us all down!!!

I said 205 as an educated guess, maybe 210 215 but I guarantee you it won't be more than 215. I have spoken to a couple guys that have a pretty good idea, work rules will improve as will retirement, but nothing like any legacy. Anyone who thinks its remotely close to legacy pay and work rules will be disappointed, I believe it will pass narrowly though. Most guys I have spoken to will vote yes unless it's horrible which I don't think it will be. A lot of guys who are hoping for legacy type rules and pay will vote no but don't think they have the numbers in all honesty. I for one can't say what I'll do till I read it a few times, but I don't expect legacy rates. For that I'll apply at Delta or United.

And keep in mind that if we vote it down, and the economy takes a dump in the next year or two we may end up taking something worse than what we have now, it's a gamble. It will take a while to get another TA I think. That being said if it's crap I'll be the first to vote no.

I'm thinking it will pass although not overwhelmingly from what few details I've heard. One big plus is it locks in whatever scope provisions are in the T/A. OTOH don't forget we have to start paying dues (lol).

Will we see full verbiage of TA or concepts, because so much can ride on a "the" "and" "or" etc. One little word or lack thereof can change the whole intended meaning of a clause.

I'm sure we will vote on the actual contract itself.

If anyone thinks or was expecting legacy anything they're a fool.

This thing will top out in the 230's and be a very respectable first contract.

Or merger.
