Vacation time is a joke right? 2.85/hrs per day? 20 hrs for a week?

Reserve rules are laughable....

scope allows for a regional model if I understand it correctly.

Codesharing on international flights would be allowed but I doubt a regional airline would be allowed (or practical with the current business model). Also, I don't think our res system can remotely deal with codesharing or interlining.

"The Company shall not enter into any
transaction that provides or allows for any form of contracting
out/subcontracting out of Company flying "

Nothing in this section shall preclude the Company from entering into a
capacity purchase, code-share agreement, a marketing agreement, an
interline agreement, a pro-rate, block space agreement, or joint venture,
so long as such agreements do not result in the furlough of any of the
Company’s Pilots.

No way our guys wrote this contract. Some positives but I see a lot of negatives. RSV is worse than we have now. Sigh. No for me.

So if this passes, what happens to our unused PTO?

Just curious has anyone thought about our exposure to pay decreases should economic conditions result in slipping to a lower pay band. Versus locking in the rates in the T/A.

I'd wait for the road shows to decide... as they pointed out in the LAS preview there is nothing currently stopping the company from implementing any of these rules tomorrow if they wanted, including airport reserve.

Your right. They can do whatever they want. JB spoke to a recurrent class on Tuesday and said the biggest problem was attrition. If they were to start all of that nonsense pretty sure attrition will pick up. Even if this passes I still see people leaving for other places. Disappointed cause I would like to retire here.

Maybe I read it wrong but I thought reserve overall improved. To me it looked like it blocked the swap your reserve prior from what you bid except with a 11 hour notice it can be moved up 2 hours or back 4 from your original award. Auto release for pilot after 8 hours last day(you have to call to notify you are exercising) The only part not good is the call if you still have duty time after an assignment which not sure that even complies with 117. It would also be rare to have time left.
