I contacted FlightAware about the aircraft type error on what they repeatedly show for AAY flight 222 (MD-80 vs A319). They said they get the aircraft type info from the flight plans filed by the airlines. That still doesn't sound right.

FlightRadar24.com gets their info from the ADS-B signals and seems to have more accurate info.

They're consistently filed at 37000. That's no MD80, unless they're empty all the time.

Few questions.

How does reserve work at Allegiant? Call out times, etc.. Long call and short call?

Also, how does dead heading to corporate work for trainings and recurrent if your base does not fly into LAS? Do they buy you a ticket on another airline?

Everything is short call reserve, 1.5 hour call out to the parking lot. No airport appreciation days (so far) and no long call.

If they can't get you on Company to LAS, then yes, they put you on other airlines.

Thanks.

I'm guessing you don't do much dead heading with your business model? But when you do, what is the pay credit?

Employee Survey is out!

Funny how the FP&A and Accounting departments seem to have the highest satisfaction.

It was also interesting that the FP&A folks (while it was only 16) seemed unsure if they would be here in 3 years.
