They did in the fall of 2013. The old faa poi from vegas that oversaw Allegiant retired that year, thank god. Under the old man's incompetent tutelage g4 got away with simulators that were falling apart, and manuals that look like an elementary kids project.
There was new a sheriff in town and they hit the reset button on the training department. Back then our Vice President and Bingo-Baden put out public statements conveniently blaming the Government shutdown of 2013. Allegiant management did their best to mitigate and hide this fact, and made everyone in the know sign non disclosure agreements and blamed everyone else, Benghazi style.
The FAA is looking the other way on the maintenance department and needs to do the same thing to them. If any blood gets spilled, the ntsb will simply have to cut and paste the conclusions of Flt. 592.

Thankfully I just got an email explaining we are smaller than the big 3 legacies and SW. I never knew that. I'm definitely convinced we should stay the lowest paid A320, 757, and MD80 operators in the industry.

Ok, so if our ULCC counterparts Spirit and Frontier have union security and dues check off in their contracts, then we and the nmb will expect the same. To counter what will be Allegiant management's assertion when the time comes that their ready to sign a deal, if your union would just cave on this one little part, and others of course.
Allegiant management signed and shaked our hands on the PWR, which they violated and paid millions to their FH attorneys to worm out of. From the top down, Allegiant management will lie all day and would love to sign a contract that they will have no intention to follow, as demonstrated with the pwr.

Yes it is all ab, but no need to worry about it, as you will likely not get it. I see a beautiful bucket of bolts and/or missing cotter pins in your g4 future.

Despite the very same person insinuating in one of his more recent previous letters that any future agreement should bring G4 in line with the the pay and work rules of "ULLC peers."
