What does the 75 schedule look like? I saw a few pages back that a lot of guys said the QOL wasn't great, but what does an average schedule actually entail?

Or you need twice as much time as anyone else to demonstrate performance to the same standard.......if your maintenance department is indicative of anything, It's easy to understand.

Nope, notice the "training class if necessary date" is December 5, I'd say the MD80 class will be December.

757 will be down to 8 FO's in December, then possibly 6 in Feb. Though higher attrition could happen between now and then.

The airplane flys 7 days a week and does lots of weekend charters with overnights.

Yeah, December 5th if anyone who is unlocked decides to bid it for some dumb reason. That would mean they could join up with the sorry souls from the November new hire class as soon as they're done with indoc.

Coincidentally, it seems there's supposed to be 26 in the next class.

Anybody think they will waive seat locks to staff the 757? Cause I can't see open bidders taking that bait when presented with that or AB/upgrade. Who would'a thunk new hires would be getting assigned 757???!

No I'd be shocked if anyone other than a new hire takes those vacancies. Also, it doesn't make sense financially for the company to break the seat lock and have to double train with a backfill, even a MD80 FO.

It's a rough, mostly charter/reserve schedule for noobs. I would avoid it at all costs unless you live in Vegas and don't mind them stealing your days off.

If you get the bus you will get FLL quickly, if you're in the November class... I wouldn't count on it.

However, if you do get the -80 or the 757 I would expect you can bid off before the 24 month lock is up. The 757's will be gone by end of next year and the -80's will fizzle rapidly. If you do get the -80 you will only ever be able to be based in LAS and possibly SFB or VBD once you get 4-6 months seniority.

The -80 is a great aircraft so don't be scared and the schedules in SFB and LAS are the most comprehensive in the system. QOL for commuters sucks but overall QOL and pay in these bases remains very high.
