I haven't complained for a second about anything in the contract or how it's been implemented since August 1st. The only complaining is from yes voters about things that they didn't read and still voted yes. Time will tell but this message from the union is very telling about the lack of education about your contract. Good luck.
Who exactly are these people who are complaining? The email said people were 1) reporting that the company wasn't following certain provisions and 2) some pilots had improper interpretations of certain provisions.

Show me a contract where there weren't implementation issues on both sides. Can you?

I hope you guys don't complain at home as much as you do at work. You must be joys to be around.

I’m a yes voter. I’m not complaining.

This is the kind of guy you hate to fly with because of his constant self pity, complaining, and negative attitude. Fishforfun, please go to your new airlines APC page and leave us alone. Anyone who read the IBT email saw that the issues were minor and mainly addressing certain pilots who are misinterpreting certain areas and taking it out on their union reps.

I work for another carrier represented by the Teamsters. We're working under our first ever contract and from what I know of your contract, it sounds pretty good! I'm actually hoping to get hired there soon.

Hey everyone! So I have my interview tomorrow morning. I am really excited, albeit a bit nervous as well.

I have worked through all 72 questions I found on Aviation Interviews.com. Sounds like the sim portion is basic CAS climbs, turns and descents with an ILS. Maybe a stall recovery as well.

Does anyone have any last minute advice or insight? I feel prepared, but interviews are always stressful.

Thank you! Hope to be joining the team tomorrow

Don't even hint at saying you're going to commute(or you want certain equipment); it's almost a guaranteed TBNT. Just say that you're going to move to whatever base that you'd be *lucky* enough to get.

Do a last minute once-over of your logbook. I've seen at least one guy be asked to leave after just a few minutes because his log book was a mess. That's not to say you can't have any errors, just be logical about it. make sure your total time, total multi, total PIC, turbine/jet time, night, instrument, etc. are all easily discernible. I know some people highlighted and put tags on their log pages indicating key events and figures (new rating, pointing out where a minor error may occur, etc)... You don't have to go nuts, but if you were doing the interviewing, make sure you can easily find the answers (within your log) to the questions you'd ask.

- as a quick example... I lost my first logbook, one of those small ASA ones with only about 25 pages (first 350 hrs ish of flight time), but with a lot of key ratings and endorsements. I simply but an entry in the first page of my current log stating as such, and with the best guesstimate of where all the times left off. They looked at it, and didn't even mention it.

Thanks for this. I use Logbook Pro and have it printed out and looks terrific, so that shouldn't be an issue. I also brought my originals if, for some reason, they want to look at those as well.

I will absolutely not mention commuting. I do plan on moving to base. That is a huge draw to me. I'm tired of commuting now. I want to get onboard here and settle down 👍🏻

This is absolutely 100% BS. They don't care if you're a commuter or not. They just want you to know you're not likely to be a happy commuter.
