Hey everyone! So I have my interview tomorrow morning. I am really excited, albeit a bit nervous as well.
I have worked through all 72 questions I found on Aviation Interviews.com. Sounds like the sim portion is basic CAS climbs, turns and descents with an ILS. Maybe a stall recovery as well.
Does anyone have any last minute advice or insight? I feel prepared, but interviews are always stressful.
Thank you! Hope to be joining the team tomorrow

Oh, really? This is straight from one of the chief pilot's mouth(the same one that does interviews); he will say no if you say you're going to try to commute it(for the own good of the candidate).

Oh really. This CP may say no during the phone interview if you say you're going to commute, but it will not kill your chances during the in person interview.... It just won't. Simple as that.

Does anyone have a good source for possible technical interview questions? My interview is tomorrow morning, and I'm hoping to brush up on some pertinent information. Thanks!

It's not a technical interview. You will brief an approach. Don't forget to mention things like the highest obstacle on the plate and fully brief the missed including what type of hold entry you would do. That's all they will really look for, but no, it's not a technical interview. They want to know who YOU are. They know from your logbook and the VERY simple sim eval that you can fly.
If they give you the "what if" scenario of writing something up at the out station or carrying it back to the home base because the flight attendant has a wedding to go to or the Captain is trying to hop a flight home... YOU WRITE IT UP THERE. I know a few guys that blew that question and didn't get the nod.

It should. A high amount of negative attitudes and complainers are people who commute. The schedules don't work for commuters even with the new TA. Most of our bases don't even have much air service besides Allegiant.

So by all means show up and be all "NO I WONT COMMUTE" basing it on the fact allegiant has a base where you currently live. Regardless you will have to commute initially most likely. At the end of the day YOU CANNOT! make everyone happy. Especially when you are trying to make s*it very fair with a contract. The company will realise this soon bc this is new to them, and not to mention pilots thinking they will get everything they ever wanted in a job. In this life you get something, you will have to give something else up.
