Well that is what it is, an opinion. Would it be ok for me to start posting again once my opinions fall in line with your expectations?

Maybe you would care to share your counter viewpoint instead of judging someone's worth

You should look at some of the recent schedules for the small bases like AVL for example where almost every line holder has 15-20 days off including the most junior, composite holders are even pulling 15 days off and the reserves, that's about as good as it gets for reserve since having more than 1 or 2 calls a month is rare and when you do get that 1 call a month you are back home that same day 9 times out of 10. It's a great life for living in base.

On the subject of commuting, It sounds like it isn't really realistic at Allegiant. I live in NC and am not willing to move.

It's said about every other page, but don't come to Allegiant if you want to commute. You'll be miserable and you'll drag everyone else down. If you live in or want to move to an allegiant base, it's an awesome job.

On the flip side, look at LAX for March. Zero hard lines. They are giving all the flying to new hires and putting all the senior pilots on reserve.

Hello

Does anyone know if Allegiant is confirmed at the NW job fair in Puyallup next weekend. Planning on attending and the site said Allegiant would be there also. I would love to talk with them. I have my app in and have received neither yes or no in a couple months. Would love to work there.

I'm hanging out in IWA this week if anyone wants to grab a bite and talk about how to get hired there

How do guys handle commuting while waiting for a particular base (e.g. IWA)? Just bite the bullet and buy a ton of hotel rooms for the better part of a year?

I can't speak for everyone, but I have a crash pad while I am waiting on IWA. Although, it is hard to tell with the fleet transition going on in IWA, but it is getting to be a long list waiting to get in. I would plan on at least a year, if not longer. If it is shorter you would be pleasantly surprised.
