Makes lots of sense actually, they can manage the overlap better between frontier and volaris. Also gives them a good whipsaw opportunity and a dumping grounds for beat up old airbii.

Do you really expect an email announcing someone basically getting let go/fired/asked to leave? If he left on his own terms, he may have said something. If not, it’s kind of rude to announce someone getting canned. The first I would expect to hear is of a replacement being named, or the interim needing to act on the job.
