Without Bingo, they're going to have to replace EG's frontal lobe with one that is preprogrammed to maintain to our pilot group that this is all normal, and they have all the same problems with their 80s over at DL and AA.

If you mean to say that the same ground handler services both airlines and they handled SWA first, no one should be surprised that they took care of the airline which undoubtedly pays them better.

If you were describing something else, I guess I didn't follow.

He's quoting an old pilot urban legend that says SWA throws pizza parties for ATC, ground support, whoever and that gets them expedited handling. It's utter B.S. but you'd be amazed at the number of pilots who swear to it.

My instructor for my CFI rating was at the time a tower controller at an airport served by SWA. He confirmed SWA does have pizza sent to the tower. This was 13 years ago, not sure if it's still true.

Wouldn't bet on it if I were you. It's amazing how breadsticks and cognac and tips will get the attention of the ground handlers at the small airports.

The rumor in PHL is that SWA bought a flat screen tv for the ATC break room. How else do you explain 30 Airways planes waiting to take off and an SWA plane comes out of nowhere and is cleared for departure first.

Its just business, good business at that

Ah, someone gets my point, thank you!

If a business treats its employees and business partners poorly, they shouldn't be surprised when said folks either reciprocate in kind or at least fail to go the extra mile.
