I am a commuter...for now.

My actual line in December reflects that. The rest of my post is very non-specific w/respect to types of trips, but the general bidding power listed is what I was describing.

That’s how you run the operation with fewer pilots than the competition. PBS concentrates most of the quality of life into the top 30% of any four part bit status. So if you’re interested in having some control over your schedule make sure you stick to that. Below 30% count on working some weekends and some major holidays. Below 50%, most weekends and all holidays.

Not really much different from line bidding in my experience.

I personally prefer PBS over line building, senior or junior.

Statements like that make me think we will never have an industry leading contract. The bare a&& minimum for any hotel should be a 4 star rating. Atrium is 3 at best. The restaurant is disgusting. The hallways probably have every form of debilitating mold buried in the nasty old carpets. “Tolerable” might be an ok description for the Atrium if you have low standards but “awesome??” Come on man...have some self respect

So I guess i’m fortunate to be at the Candlewood for the next 4 weeks? Never stayed at either. Was originally supposed to go to clt last month, but the bought my slot and stuck me down there. Sucks cause I was going to drive. Oh well, little happier I got the “better?” hotel.

When you’re on reserve and get a reserve day removed with a 7D (30/168). Do you still get credited/pay for that day or the original guarantee gets reduced?

If you look at the sheet, it looks like Doug Parker gets quite a few free beers every night

Sad but true. Airline pilots are probably the only professional group making $200-500k per year that would accept a substandard hotel on the basis of a free beer. I can't imagine the Atrium hosts many Lawyer or Doctor conventions.
