Wow, this is an atrocious change. I am not angry about the LOAs, but this is like getting spit on when combined with ZTLs being the only viable option for those of us on the bottom.

So TTOT is gonna disappear? Ugh...

We need answers on this. TTOT is the single best tool for schedule flexibility in my opinion.

Throw in a forced ZTL, and the gainfully employed FOs get first stab at open trips??? Seriously??

I agree. I originally thought all these changes were to our original TTS tool, which was seniority based to begin with.

I thought this was the plan all along for the last few years? And AA gave ttot one last extension when it didn’t have to?

As has been mentioned previously, TTOT was given away years ago. The company was just too lazy/incompetent to implement the inevitable change to TTS 2.0. AA puts the “SH” into “IT” as well as any company.

There was a massive discussion on the impacts of this on The Line pre-COVID. Search for it, it’s worth a read. AW from the scheduling committee had some great analysis into the good/bad/ugly of it all.

It really doesn’t matter much when it was given away. These LOAs were designed and signed knowing that TTOT was disappearing. Takes any positive away from a ZTL, which I previously was eyeing as a pretty good alternative to hitting the street.

Ah geez... I think I remember the conversation about TTOT now. Sheesh, can only process one dicking at a time!
