that would make more sense, but even that seems desperately low....I feel like the company would be beyond crisis mode if we had 6 737 CKA system wide, no matter what type.

yeah I’m pretty sure there is way more than 30 L CKA. Just IOE alone plus line checks and what not.

Only six 737 L types listed in the training section of aapilots, but I'm not sure how accurate that is. Like you said, that seems very, very low. Also sucks that the one that has absolutely no business being a check airman is still one that remains. That dude must know where the bodies are buried!

My last CKA said there are very few 737 L types, lots more on the Airbus.

The company had been trying to eliminate as many L types as possible before covid

Got an email this morning from AA recruiting, that said "RFC ID for Success Factors and Boomi" created a profile for me. Honestly thought it was spam at first. Then I logged in to pilot credentials and saw 4 new tabs, one of them being an interview tab with a few dates to select from. I chose a date and time and haven't heard anything yet, travel, confirmation, etc.

You’ll get an email eventually with a confirmation

There are currently 115 X and L type CKA on the 737…word is they need closer to 200 and have no idea how they’re going to convince someone to be a CKA with the current section 12 in the JCBA.
