Nothing new on mine. Probable you’re getting close to an interview

AA is all over the board right now with the process. Some people conduct a video interview, others do not. Some get the interview before they do the workplace assessment, others do not.
Just roll with it. It should smooth out once the new year starts and they are filling all of the classes. They are playing catch up in a big way right now.

I got an unexpected interview invite on Saturday. I hadn’t even completed either assessment and hadn’t even updated my app since September. The PRIA documents popped up along with my interview date selection in the left hand tab. Sounds like they are going crazy with calls.

While I like your optimism, I’d bet my next paycheck that nothing at AA will be smoothing out anytime soon. The reason they’re all over the place is because the leadership has put this airline in a tailspin. The craziness new hires are seeing in the hiring process is just a small semblance of the inefficiencies they will see when they finally reach the line. Which won’t be anytime soon thanks to the check airman situation, which management is trying to downplay…lest we get wind of how screwed they really are.

Company wants to sign a LOA fixing it but Union is saying no more LOA’s until we have a contract. Can’t run an airline without check airmen, so herein lies the problem. How bad is AA management willing to let the operation get before they realize a new contract is what’s needed to right the ship?
Unfortunately I don’t think they really care about the operation as long as the stock price stays where it is. So yeah, good luck coming here!
