If they tossed in a Tumi bag it would still be worse than the United TA. Good grief. Unfortunately we at APA can’t recall the ding dongs that are about to send this our way.

If you have a mid sequence cancellation then you have 6. Hour airport standby? That’s how I read it.

I think what they are saying is they have 6 hours to assign replacement flying if the sequence is cancelled after DOTC the day prior to your sequence starting.
Technically you'll still be home.. unless you commute.

It specifically says if the cancellation occurs after sign in you are to remain at the airport for the duration of the cancellation assignment window(6 hours).

I’m Stunned. Electronic notification, 6 hr airport standby, stand up overnights. All gives. What the hell is going on in DFW?

Lots of mutually agreed to, should, may, in the language that never falls in the pilots favor.

I’m trying to figure out the CAW, so if your sequence cancels at a place that we don’t have much frequency, we have to stay at the airport for 6 hrs even though there may not be another jet for us? Or is this only applies at the domiciles?

this is why we need solid language as well. If this passes the flow charts are going to get crazy!
