Default Thanks But No Thanks Question

I was interviewed in the first interview group on October 2013. I did not get hired but was highly encouraged to reapply in one year. I have continually updated my app over the last four years. Haven't heard a peep.

The question is: Have you or anyone you know, that had received a TBNT initially, subsequently been given another opportunity?

Thanks, JP

Default Currency for new hires?

15k TT, 10k PIC FAR 121 LCA, etc... but haven't flown in 5 years, although kept "proficient" through the sim environment as an SFI on Boeing / Airbus types. Thoughts about getting called for an interview without having touched an airplane in that amount of time ?

thanks !

Join the Air Force or navy. Then you will be qualified.

If you haven't already, put your app in. If they call the last five years certainly will be questioned but maybe it won't matter too much. So many diversified folks being hired you never know what might make a difference. Personally as a very senior AA pilot I would choose character and personality over other than the basic quals all the time.

You may improve your chances if you get 121 current at a regional.
