Ok, we shall see. But I disagree. But at least we won't have to wait years for this mess to be behind us... I'll be thankful when that happens.

On another note, I wonder what's taking the NMB so long to rule. They should have ruled last Monday when the 30 days were up. When they finally rule, the APA will be our union then or we wait another 30 days or so for the "election".

How is that in any form the same ideals as the NIC?
Because it was done under different rules than the Nicolau?

Why do you disagree? There is nothing in MOU/PA that limits any of the parties positions.

Of course if the NMB decides to call for an election, the West will have to wait at least another 30 days or so to even petition for a separate merger committee...

Yes, the UAL ruling did award LOS to furloughs. If you worked X number of days at United, you received X number days in longevity. Which does seem fair.

I also do not believe that UAL's award made a distinction recognizing that before the merger UAL was not recalling pilots.

Many long furloughed UAL pilots went ahead of never furloughed active CAL pilots.

Yes they are. Well except for the whole SLI thing. But it's a good day for everyone. As an East pilot, I'm very happy to join the APA and have them as our union today.

Me too. Too bad we have to endure another lawsuit, but figured it was coming. Sigh.

No dues until Dec either.

APA is on a dues holiday.

The only thing USAPA did, re. dues, is raise them.
