Good for them. I hope they waste hours of their precious time trying to figure out who said what (none of which is sensitive info), rather than fixing what's broken out on line.

During interviews in 2012 they were hiring > 75% of the interviewees. I think that has stayed relatively constant since then. 13 sounds like a lot of DNRs but they still hired 80%. Just a lot of candidates.

Late 2010 into 2011 was the years I was referencing.

Atlas management should be pretty proud of what Atlas pilots post here. It is civil, extremely helpful to potential Atlas pilots, and (for the most part) honest.

But if they want something to talk about around the water cooler next week, let it be known that most pilots want SL to get his head out of his rear and start abiding by the friggin' contract.

Large companies monitor all public sites that regularly mention them, and buried somewhere in the HR paperwork is language that holds employees accountable for what they post -- that is just part of modern business. Anyone who is posting without realizing that, or worse anyone who thinks that their anonymity makes them safe, is hopefully senior to me.

Atlas actually seems to have a light touch in these matters. At the other extreme you have what Ryan Air did/does over on the other board that shall remain nameless but has an English accent.

So here is a big shout out to the intern working in the Atlas Security Department -- Hi!

On the PAQ towards the bottom where it asks "date of last PC", could you also list date of last LOFT, or do they strictly just want checkrides? It's a pretty black/white question, but since LOFT is still a training event, I just thought to ask..

Lucas,

For 121 carriers doing AQP, the LOFT is the check ride. If the instructor signs you off for X number of months or years after a LOFT completion, then yes, I would say you can list the LOFT.

My 121 carrier doesn't have AQP yet, just LOFT/PC every 12 months for FOs, and I also wasn't sure if Atlas has it or not. Just wanted to check and see. Thanks

Anyone take the online test in the past week and hear anything? I took it last Thursday and emailed everything in on Friday and haven't heard anything in response. Patience is not a virtue i possess but I'm learning quickly I'm on their schedule.
