Flyboy, On the first call, Aug. 12th. Did they tell you they were going to consult with the chief pilot and may call you later? or just to wait for another call? They did tell me the chief pilot version and to wait for another "possible" call. Hoping they call me this month for the Oct. interview in MIA, Thanks.
I kept updating my resume every 3-4 weeks, and emphasizing my interest when I did. I also showed that I had been keeping up with company news (such as interview dates and new hiring numbers), to further show I am serious about my interest. I don't know if that made the difference or not, but I did get an interview for the 7th of October...
I wish you good luck, hopefully I see you there!

They told me they would have to consult the chief pilot. I am definitely on the lower side of the hours of experience for applicants, so that didn't surprise me too much. It does sound like a fair number still get calls from that point, if they are both patient and persistent enough.

I will be interviewing on October 7th.
I was contacted for the test in very late June, took the test in very early July, and interviewed over the phone on August 12th. I just received the call to interview in Miami yesterday, September 23rd.
If you have been waiting a while without any news either way, and you passed your test, I would recommend emailing them to let them know that you are still interested. That is what I did.
Good luck everyone!

Nothing technical, just to hear you and get a first (intuitive) impression over the phone and ask you a few questions about your resume. why did you go from this company to this one? etc. Know your resume and be enthusiastic and genuine! Who called you? From NY? did they leave a # to call back on Monday? I am still hoping they call me for the Oct interview in MIA. Good luck!
