As of right now I'm swimming so I'm not going to say I was "hired" but I've only ever done 135 stuff. Cargo and two air ambulance jobs. I've got like 2500 multi turbine PIC but only about 700 of that was in a Learjet. I've got over 5000 PIC though so maybe that had something to do with it? Who knows, but when I interviewed on the 7th it was a good mix of 121, 135, ACMI and I think a few ex-mil guys so I would say they are showing very little preference when it comes to the people they pick. Called today and offered Nov 2nd class! Thrilled to be starting...
It's been almost a 4 yrs process of applying, updating, etc....
Job fair in 2012.
OBAP in august
Technical test email 09/23
Passed 3 days later (I don't know what score I got).
Called couple days later for phone interview, invited to Miami (choose Oct 5)
Good news email Oct 12, called today for Nov 2 class.
8000tt, 1000tpic, p121, RJ type, 5 lor, 3 internals.
Good luck to all who are waiting for a call, email, etc and to those who are applying, keep going at it if you really want it. They will get to you eventually...
