Probably quantitative methods derived from the latest software obtained by the turbo encabulator, or by SSN, whichever makes the least sense.

Speaking of SSN, the new contract has the class senority determined by SSN, not age, as it currently is.

Was there a problem with using age? Who wanted this change the pilots or company? Just curious as to what would cause this change. Thanks.

There is no problem unless you are the one that looses numbers because of a change in policy...

Can't lose a number you don't have yet.

Polar contract was last 4 of SSN, which was adopted in the amalgamation CBA.

Six one way, half dozen another.

The real heartburn is the company putting a bid out on a LOA that didn't quite exist, then renegging on the terms causing said LOA to disintegrate, and now we're all left blowing in the breeze.

It makes a huge difference if you're the one who could live in base with a 20 minute drive, or need to commute 1500 miles since you cannot hold said base and not have to deal with some BSU graduate with 10 hours of multi time.

I have had it both ways and the truth of the matter is it truly does not matter. What if they did it weight say heaviest is senior and so on(I would definetly be at the head of the class) The point is, as someone has already said, unless you are in your out and if your out you don't have a number. Once your in it's however seniority was negotiated or the company that you are going to work for wants it to be.

As one of my many ex-wives told me as she was raking me over the coals "it is what it is so lay back and enjoy it!"

Cheers,

cargo
