Depends.

You failed an MV 5 years ago? No big deal.
You just washed out from 3 previous 121 carriers during initial? Big deal.

It's here until FedEx says they don't need us anymore. That could be next month or it could be ten years from now.

The above is so true. On a large scale TWA, Pan Am, etc etc etc to include ACMI or any base always has risk. Least amount of risk on our part is what remains hopeful as nothing has ever been concrete. MEM base is filling a gap for a very large group within the airline industry in the cargo sector. Here today gone tomorrow is a management crystal ball. Peak will be interesting perhaps.

*Probably has been a very good opportunity for those living near MEM and moving on or working to move on to Purple.

Once at least three Captains buy real estate at a base it is in peril, e.g. the long standing HSV base.

Lol, never upgrade. Got it. Or does real estate bought as an FO not count towards the quota?

Anybody knows how long it takes from receiving the congratulations email to fleet/class date email?

Anywhere from 5 business days to 3 weeks. At least that’s what it was at the end of last year
