Any thoughts on visiting Atlas in Purchase, NY to drop off a resume? Have a trip with some time close by and wanted to get some past experience, been through the forum here with bloodshot eyes and no joy. Thanks in advance.

Macdaddy,

I'm sure we line guys appreciate the enthusiasm, but I'm not sure our process of screening and recruiting will allow for dropping off a CV/PAQ etc...

Good luck.

We've come full circle. Somewhere a hundred pages back was the same question. I think the answer was there's no way past security.

Training dates for the Captains start on July 9th. With one week of basic indoc this may be the reason for the confusion. Not to say they couldn't start another class but I haven't seen two classes start back to back weeks since all of this hiring began.

I just heard from about the most reliable source there is, there will be multiple new hire classes for the 747 and the 767 this fall. And the multiple sounded like it had a capital M on it. Great news all around!

That is great to hear! I've been looking at Atlas for several years now and I can't wait to get an interview! ATP coming next month, so the circle will soon be complete!

Can anyone post some recent monthly schedules that have been flown on the 747 and 767?

For current Atlas guys. How many pilots do you think will stick around when/if say a Delta/Unical/Fedex (name whoever) starts hiring a ton? Delta alone retires 5100 pilots (out of 12000) by the end of 2023. They arent hiring now obviously, but they will have to hire a lot in the next 10 years. I know AA and Unical has a ton of old guys too. Us Airways East...wow, very old. Eventually they will have to start hiring in droves just due to the old guys. Are all current Atlas guys staying for the long haul??? Delta's pay scale and contract is pretty darn good, just sayin...
