Atlas Air Hiring

Hiring Update from our ask and answer forum on the employee side of the company website. This should reassure some of you in the pool. The red underlined text is of my own doing.
Question: Is HR still taking recommendations from current crewmembers in the new hire recruiting process? </B>
Response: Yes, pilot hiring will slow as we continue the Classic to -400/-8 transition, but will pick up momentum in the 4th quarter. Referrals are welcome.

In Miami for recurrent and trying to get caught up on latest rumors. Word in training center is -200 guys will be finished in June and New Hire 400 classes will begin late July. Interviews should start in July again as well. Could change as always but will have to start soon due to current growth.. Hope this helps

just kidding ...
You will grow old and tired waiting for the "big announcements" in the civilian airline world. And the "big announcement" rumors are usually wrong.
That said, Atlas seems to always play their cards very close to the chest and only let out info after the ink is dry on whatever deal they have done. They have impressed me the most by concentrating on deeds rather than words as a method of running their airline.

I think for the first two weeks it's 0800 to 1500 with an hour break for lunch. (Sorry! I just couldn't resist the low hanging fruit.) I'm in Miami for training this week and if any good gouge is available I'll pass it on.

I'm pretty sure they would fit in well with your kind of flying and some even have 74-4 time
