It's fantastic! The trips, the changes, the world traveling! I love the trip scheduling, and I can't wait to be a part of this great team! What other company will the mundane be the excitement! I love the fact that there is so much spontaneity and so many options!

Having spent the last 5 years of my life doing the job with another carrier, it is hard to wrap your head around until you do it, but I wouldn't do anything else if I have anything to say about it. One of my favorite memories is looking at a schedule change with my crew and the Captain asking:

"Anybody been there?"...."Nope"
"Anybody heard of it?"...."Nope"
"Anybody know what country it's in?"...."Nope"

I just got into the queue for the fair in ORD, so I'll see y'all there.

Still true today. We used to enter a stage and hope to be setup for a really bad trip the next day because we NEVER flew the mission we were originally set for. That way you might get lucky and slide into a better deal.

Based on the recent posts here I can only dream of the day where it's just 17days. As for my family and I, the military has been great and provided many great experiences and opportunities over the past 20+ years, but we're ready for a life with Atlas and pray that that opportunity becomes available. Now my kids are even asking me if I got a call since we've made this a family decision.

Best of luck to all here.

uhhhh ... Givn,

You DO realize that those of us who post on these boards are NOT a part of Atlas HR, don't you?

Hold that enthusiasm for the interview!

4221 posts, the most epic thread I've ever read. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to share what they know. I'm going to need to buy a keg if I get hired on.
