4221 posts, the most epic thread I've ever read. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to share what they know. I'm going to need to buy a keg if I get hired on.

I just received the call and have not done the phone interview yet. After the interview I had read on this forum that she will give me a link to the online assessment test? And how long do I have to complete this test? If she does not does that mean I did not make it to the next step?

Paidpnuts,

When did you submit your resume/PAQ?

Times and background?

Thanks!

Hi all, another quick question and certainly not a determining factor in the scheme of things, but the search turned up nothing recent. With all the new aircraft and hiring, has the upgrade time been shortened much? On the APC profile the most junior upgrade was Jun 2004 in the 767. Not chasing the quick uprgrade/big equipment, but trying to plan with the best info at hand. Thanks!

Congrats and good luck paidpnuts. Curious about when you submitted your application as well. Also, did you have internal recs? Thanks again!

Theoretically, you could wait as long as you want, but personally I'd take it within a few days, maybe a little longer if you're on road. It was my understanding that waiting too long would deduct points from your overall score, and remember that the hiring pool is competitive.

I thought the initial call was the phone interview? What do you mean you got the call, but have not done the phone interview? Do they call and schedule a phone interview?? Thx.
