The info is appreciated. Could do without the sarcasm and forum-nazi mentality though. Oh well.
Had you read even the last 50 or so you would have seen that all that was just said was light hearted and good willed. It's not meant to drive you away, simply to let you know this website has some excellent information and if you have the time you will find what you are looking for. Doesn't have to be all 800+ pages, there should be a "cliff notes" within the last 50 if my memory serves right.

Hmmmm....better things than researching thoroughly a possible new employer, with almost every topic covered about who is getting hired, how to get hired, what happens after being hired, plus a few extras thrown in for fun???

Guess you are very busy, or don't really care about working at Atlas, which is fine, I think they will all be fine as well.

Of course, sarcasm is a dish that is best served....cold, and perhaps with a cold beverage.

Remember, it is not just Atlas...but others in the same or similar category, like Kalitta, Southern, etc.

Sarcasm aside, I hope that you take worldfr8dog's advice and give this a chance...I promise it will be worth it to help you decide if Atlas is right for you.

Damn, that was painful to be that nice...

I very much agree. I read about the last 200 pages before my interview over 3 years ago. It helped, but not nearly as much doing an interview prep. The condescending tone is getting old. READ THE 14,987 pages you wuss!!! haha

So the job fair went very well back in March and I've kept in touch with 2 of the recruiters. Yet, nothing. They seemed to like my resume and my cover letter but I can't seem to get a call. My internal was in MIA and spoke to the HR folks down there at the beginning of April, but still nothing. Suggestions?

Perhaps it is how desperate you come across. I have read every page of this thread, as I would love for Atlas to call me. Scattered throughout are posts by you whining about the fact that you have yet to be contacted.

Relax. Keep your info up to date. Relax. Have a beer. And relax. They'll call you when they feel you're what they're looking for.

Since you tuned in on page #834, I guess I'll add that it IS worth trying to get thru the meat of this thread from the beginning if you can. Look for the handy guides that guys have posted.

For me this place is like a local radio station in St Louis (The Arch)..."It's aaallll about the variety."

My kids tell me that too. Well, not anymore, they are also sarcastic. Seriously, the job is great with great people. There is a lot of good perspective throughout the posts here, all sarcasm aside. Good luck.

I also have been applying for a while at Atlas. It's my 1st choice for career move. In thr meantime, I have been able to upgrade to Captain at my regional, get some pic time, and also get to know 3 Atlas pilots who asked me to put their name on the application. One day, hopefully I'll get the call... In the meantime, I'll keep harrassing the Atlas guys deadheading on my RJ lol.

The search function works well and saves a lot of time.
