For you military folks, I called the Sr Director of the Flight Operations Support Group in Miami first thing this morning and posed the question on whether the conversion is 1.2 X sorties(like most companies) or 1.2 X total time.
The official answer is "1.2 for every hour flown".
Best of luck guys and gals!!

Besides this quote you cite here, I have never seen any guidance regarding military conversion factors at Atlas. FWIW, I put a * next to my total time on resume and, in the footer, put "* Military conversion factor NOT used"
Maybe others will chime in. Good luck!

I'm sure this has been covered on here at some point, but just wanted to point out a potential gotcha with the PAQ. In the PAQ instructions it says to save a copy to your computer and change the filename to your legal name. After doing that, it ERASES everything in the PAQ. Of course I didn't discover this until after I sent it! I was able to save a PDF copy by sending a filled out copy to my "PDF Printer", and resent that to the crewjobs email.
I've applied at every window the past several years, and I think I've been through this before. But since it has been a few months, I of course forgot and figured maybe some of you might too. Good luck everyone!

Reality Check
Here's some info about about days off . For the guys and gals that that have been interested enough to read this entire thread, you'll have been told many times to plan on being away from home for 17 days. There's much more to it than that. As a junior ANC based 747 FO, you can plan on giving up 2 days off for travel ( 3 if you live on the East coast)every time you have to travel to and from ANC. If you can hold a 30 day line, you will probably have at least 2 seperate pairings in that month. Your going to be traveling on 4 to 6 of your 13 to 14 days off per month. The company buys you a ticket for this travel, but you don't get paid for these days. It's even more likely that you'll get stuck with a 60 day line that has 4 to 5 pairings. Then you'll be traveling on 10 to 15 days off over those 2 months. I've been at Atlas for over a year and still based in ANC. I prefer to go out and do my 17 days in one shot and then go home. I'm in the middle of the base seniority and still can't do it on a regular basis. There just aren't enough lines that are built that way.

But anybody who gets a 747 class before then should absolutely be aware.
