What's hilarious about the whole "NATO is useless/unprepared/underfunded" argument is that it is 100% hypothetical.

NATO has never been tested. You have no idea of its combat effectiveness. You can only postulate from the comfort of your home. And copy paste propaganda from the Kremlin telling us that women in the military has made the west ineffective.

The truth is you have no idea how NATO will perform. And from the looks of it, the Russian Army isn't much of its former glory either. They're being hamstrung by civilians with molotov cocktails.

So, do the west a favor, and give some grace before you judge. We're better than they are by a country mile. Reflective belts included.

Russian hardware is getting recycled at an alarming rate. Wonder if the Ukrainian gas fields are worth the epic cash burn this war is turning out to be.

How about a latrine digger? Much less training required, Private Tries Hard.
When they're giving out assignments, I'll dig the latrines.

You can write for Pravda.

That's really impressive. I mean, you must really be some kind of military superhero based on how much you talk about your prior service.

Did I tell you how impressed I am?

You’re either with flyprdu, or with Putin.

There is no middle ground.

(Studied at the GW Bush School of International Relations and Policy? How’d that work out?)

?
When you think you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

There are way too many former service members who think they're bad asses but have little idea of how weilding national power actually works. NATO will serve its purpose here - without ever firing a shot.

I'm sorry, how does being on defense make me a neocon?

Narrative fails:

The “F U Russia” UK soldiers who died to a man on Snake Island?—- uh, Ukraine came out and admitted they were actually just captured.

“The Ghost of Kiev” fighter ace footage? - uh, actually that was from a video game. There was no GOK.

“Picture of a stud-ly, photogenic heroic actor/comedian/President of UK” (that you posted) leads the fight in Kiev?——NYT reports that photo came out in May of 2021 (LAST YEAR) The suggestion is most of the videos were from last year as well.

US does this all the time (sometimes for good reasons). Read “Where Men Win Glory” about the Pat Tillman cover up —- talk about a heroic SOB who’s story was buried just to cover the brass’s ass. The follow up stories to the Jessica Lynch POW incident was another story of massive propaganda.

So yeah. Don’t “trust your own eyes”, because pictures and video are insanely 1. Highly persuasive and 2. Easy to manipulate/distort.
Well put and of course not a single reply. “A person who was demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him. Even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents, with pictures"

Of course there's propaganda. But we were talking about Zelinkskyy staying in Kyiv. Nothing more and nothing less. Easily verifiable. And it makes him a badass.

Everything that DeltaBoundREDux said is just filler, and was never part of the conversation.

The Ukrainian women making Molotov cocktails and picking up a Kalashnikov are badasses. A president not fleeing his country is just what's expected.
