[Breeze] Airways

The legacies still want quality applicants. These companies would rather build a pilot from nothing than to hire some jack ass with 3 DUIs and a bunch of Checkride failures. You’ll never see somebody like that go to a legacy. These companies can only lower standards so much. Maybe that’s what Breeze will end up hiring eventually but really, these craptastic airline startups are getting the scraps big time.

Anyone have some insight to the video questions? I’ve never done anything like this before. Also, am I understanding correctly the e190 is a return to base, nightly? Um, I don’t want to live in some of these cities…

Four random TMAAT questions. You get maybe 30 seconds to think and then 2 minutes to answer. From what I understand the E190 is a return to base without flights on Tuesdays or Wednesday and limited flights on Saturdays. Doesn’t seem super commuter friendly to start but they are opening around 25 bases in the next 2 to 3 years.

I am curious about potential new bases too - but I suppose there is a balance between advertising future bases (needed to attract applicants) and giving away your route strategy to competitors. I would expect to see more Midwest and even West Coast bases over time with the entry of the A220… I suppose more E195 bases could be established outside of the Southeast at some point using the same low utilization model.
