Basically 01/21. There’s a couple of initial cadres in 20 but the list starts around 01/21

I’m not sure I’d categorize it as a “daydream”, but we do need an A220 or MAX7 size jet to replace our aged out -700NGs. Plus I’d love to fly the Canibus. The MAX7 has become a running joke anymore and after 5+ years of delays no one believes anything Boeing says anymore.

Kirby told our class that he only wants A/Cs with more capacity. Not interested in the 220/190E2 that are on the market

I think he’s referencing to Southwest, not United.

Breeze will most likely become one of three things:

Most likely remain an independent carrier. How sustainable that is? Depends on the fate of Spirit imo.

Next most likely is some sort of tie up with JetBlue. We see business models and route network growing closer all the time. JetBlue needs what Breeze has in routes and aircraft, and Breeze needs what JetBlue has in aircraft and scale. There’s a lot of what I’ll call “overnight overlap” between the two. While not a ton of competing right now, JetBlue could easily adopt Breezes routes overnight, as almost all of them would fit the JetBlue network.

Least likely is a tie up with Southwest. The seed has been planted with Doxy over there… who knows.

what is interesting is you have no idea how many aircraft your airline needs. Breeze and Airbus can’t provide them but you still want it. Well, I am sure the 2021 hires at Breeze will be integrated in with the 2003 SWA hires.

What is interesting is that you’re apparently clueless about the topic but take no shame in stirring the pot nevertheless (at least you’re consistent with this behavior).

SWA management has repeatedly stated that the old -700NGs need to be replaced and that the MAX7 is the replacement aircraft for it. What part of the equation are you not understanding?
