Do explain how I’m off base.

I’m not going after anyone personally. There’s no one I’ve flown with here at K4 that I wouldn’t fly with again. This pilot group is awesome.

However, that doesn’t mean I’m not going to criticize this decert move and oppose the move from 1224. It’s not personal, it’s business and the business of leaving 1224 is idiotic IMHO. It doesn’t mean I won’t fly with you or buy you a beer at hair of the dog 13.

No, Lockheed please don't go on because you do not know what you're talking about.

Oh, he knows what he’s talking about, I am afraid you are the one who doesn’t have a clue.

What’s worse? ALPA, or a union ran by your direct competitor that wanted you to go on strike instead of getting your new industry leading contract? A union who’s E-board, to this day is bitterly ****ed off that we got our new contract? I’ve changed my position in response to information. It is insane to have your direct competitor meddling in your own business.

Ok hugs my apologies
I must have misunderstood your post
Easy to do on forums
It seamed like you were saying those of us voting for alpa we're some how being spoofed by the company and that's not the case
I respect everyone on the other side of this
We all should... regardless of how it turns out we'll still be living in that tube together

Like I said it's easy to read the wrong thing into a post

It's all good buddy, I'm hopefully going to begin helping out with some union stuff next month with Teamsters, and I told DP that even if ALPA happens I still plan on being involved.

I'm very opposed to the ALPA switch, but regardless, the union is what we as the pilot group make it.

I feel like this thread has run aground. That's the problem with arguing two entrenched ideas. Both sides just dig in and no minds are changed. It's just time to vote, accept the outcome either way, and move forward as a strong unified pilot group. I'm hoping that's with Teamsters and 1224, but if it isn't, lets get to work.

K4 Brothers and Sisters,
The vote we have all worked so hard to achieve starts tomorrow at 1201 a.m. EST! It is a telephone and internet vote that ends and the tally will on February 15, at 1400 EST. Voting instructions and a PIN# will be mailed to you. If you do not receive this or have recently changed your address you will need to submit in writing to the NMB to receive another one. When the majority of us WRITE IN ALPA!, we will no longer be represented, (or misrepresented) by IBT 1224 at the votes tally. Once no longer represented by 1224, we can then move our contract and be represented by ALPA.
