There it is. The old you must be management or working for them statement. Nope wrong on this too. Your overstatement on all your gripes about ABX is absurd and to constantly restate the same made up things over and over in every thread on here is ridiculous.

I'd say you trying to defend a low tier company that isn't willing to pay pilots with an industry standard contract in over 4 years is absurd.

It's not like the much-vaunted Kalitta contract was simply offered up by management on the amendable date. I seem to recall that it took a lot longer than four years to get it. So is Kalitta a "low tier" company, too?

There are degrees of animosity. My impression of Kalitta is that it is kind of a back-slappy good-ole boy kind of animosity. Connie knows that the pilots are going to try to take whatever they can get, and the crews know that Connie is going to try to give them just exactly as much as it takes to keep the rubber dog-doody moving, and not a penny more. But they probably all still eat barbecue together at the company picnic for the three weeks a year a picnic is a sane thing to have in Michigan.
Now, I may be wrong, don't know that much about the place, but if that's the case, there are worse relationships to have with your management. Kind of like the Roadrunner and Wile-E Coyote clocking in at the beginning of the day. "Morning Frank. Morning Bob."

FACT...There has not been a net gain in aircraft in over 3 years!
FACT ..contract negotiations have been going on for over 4 years.
FACT...the president constantly threatens to shut the place down!
FACT...50% of new hires have quit within the first 2 years!
FACT....several new hires have failed training and we're fired or resigned!
FACT.....no new airplanes are scheduled to be delivered to ABX.
FACT....the last upgrade had a 1996 hires date and there are almost 50 pilots in the FO seat with 20 plus years of seniority!
FACT there are over 100 FOs... (do the math on upgrade time)
FACT the reserve system has no long call, no early release, no per diem unless a trip is assigned, nothing but a "requser for a trip that doesn't have to be followed" no hotels in domicile, hot reserve at the airport with up to 12 hours on duty!
FACT ...there are many (like alot) grievances on file for pilots not being paid properly or denied trip trades!
There are plenty more. Do you still want to defend this TOXIC work environment?
Are there any ABX pilots who would like to verify all the above FACTS? Maybe add a few more....

Granted some things have changed and we have only one saving grace in mgmt. Bless his soul. But this is just a general attitude of what you might have to deal with.

ABX has The Soap. And a CEO that “manages” with emotion, rather than objectivity. And I started a sentence with “and”.
