Did the new window need to have a resume attached to it? Or is it just wait till you go active like previous windows? If so, I may have messed that up. Anyone know?
Moose, are you in Chucktown and AD, a Pelican? If so, give me a call, you can probably figure out who I am.

My app is in an active status right now and I attached the resume to it. I honestly do not know if mine was ever on file or always active. I did add my resume on Tuesday night. I had finished my app on Tuesday morning but did not have the resume updated when I got home that night I was able to upload my resume.
I guess I will wait and see...

I do have a lot to learn because it would take a trip across the Pacific to figure out what you think is funny.
Like I already said, UPS has written me off, not the other way around. Please try to contain your glee, I find your disclaimer disingenuous.
Wow, you really can't read. That is probably the root of this whole discussion.
Anything else about flying you want to lecture me on, since I've never heard of QFE or flown an approach to mins?
Was he saying that his fighter background made him a poor choice for the job he's in?
Blasting? UPS may be a fantastic gig, but many people beside me have been critical of their application and hiring system.
UPS is sending a stronger message to me than I am to you. I at least am taking the time to respond to you.
If I was more like the UPS application system, I'd have you check some radio buttons prior to posting, and if you didn't have fighter time, I'd just hit Ignore.
But like I said, I'm not like that.
I have no beef with fighter pilots or any other group. The fact that I think you came across as a bit arrogant and as a crybaby has nothing to do with what you fly/flew. I'm amazed that you would publicly write off the 2d best job in aviation, IMO (FDX being the best based on junior FO pay.)

Steam,
I don't have the same heavy PIC as you but well meet the requirements. I also received the same message. Perhaps its a canned reply since Air Ops doesn't do the additional appointments and testing (note previous blog).
Good luck....

My times are total of 5575 2800 PIC and 500 Inst/Evaluator all military transport. I have another 2200 SIC from military and one of the Majors as well as some student time. I did not add the .3 on my times for the military conversion, but I do not want to go back and change it right now.
I was able to check the boxes on all the international stuff.
I am still listed as active, still not sure if that means anything or not.
Good luck

1S1E,
I agree with you.
BTW Lil'J attack on some other thread for some other fighter / heavy argument.
My best friend is a tanker guy, and I know how hard it is. I fly for an airline now, and it's not hard at all.
I have had to fly the tanker from my single seat fighter for them not to hit me.
His response always is.... "I've drag you guys many times accross the pond, that's not international/transoceanic experience".
I just wonder what his/her choice was when he needed to pick his airplane during assignment night at UPT. I was a betting man, I will say not too many.
By the way, I already gave some time to UPS back when, I think I have paid my dues as a former employee, and it has been 13 years to able to qualify, but the come up with these stupid requirements. In my opinion it su..ks! It shows how they treat their people.
And L'il J... How many weapons have you deliver from your tanker?
Cheers,

Not that I know much ...
But as much as we like to WHINE about this whole process ... it is pretty simple.
UPS has the LUXURY of only interviewing the EXACT people that they desire for their expected openings in the near future ... for now. They should easily meet or exceed what they need RIGHT NOW ...
Is it fair ? YES
Do you have to like it ? NO
It really doesn't matter if you have 14 lunar orbits, 3 shuttle launches, or a cross-country run to FL in your DEPENDS underwear ...
Been into DCA, LGA, ORD and LAX in your RJ or Boeing hundreds of times ... so what !
When they really need overwater international qualified experience for their projected growth. They can require it and get it ...
Sometimes the truth hurts ....
